My 6-year old child has been showing some strange behavior lately, one me and my husband can only describe as psychic. He reports visions, imaginary people and sounds.

He has mentioned some things he should not know and we have later verified to be true.

I am not fully convinced about psychic stuff so I would like to see a specialist to know if my son is really psychic or just possess an overactive imagination.

While many facts on the show were directly from Alison’s life, including her work with law enforcement agencies and juries, the show is only loosely based on her experiences and is not a detailed biography.

In the show, Dubois is a part-time consultant to the district attorney’s office who uses her abilities of talking to dead people as well as seeing the future in her dreams to solve violent and horrifying crimes that have remained unsolved for her for the Arizona police department and other law enforcement agencies. She also keeps a home with her husband and three children.

Each week, she gets called up for assignments from her main client, D.A. Devalos, to sit in on cases where they have no clear leads. Using her abilities, she pieces the messages together and helps the law enforcers make correct decisions.

This heightened in the 60s and 70s when videos of Phippine psychic surgeons performing their trade circulated among metaphysical circles and lead to many controversies within the medical and legal communities. These healers cured cancer, gallstones and other ailments with no pain, no bleeding, no open wound of any kind. The operation normally involved the removal of diseased tissues from the body using bare hands, without the use of anaesthetics or antisepsis, leaving little or no indication on the skin that an operation had been performed.
