Uri Geller is a performer who claims to have real psychic powers. He gained prominence in the 70s when he did TV and media appearances where he performed various telekinetic demonstrations, such as bending spoons and stopping watches. He claimed he used purely paranormal abilities in those demonstrations although this has been refuted time and again by different people, including stage magicians who can perform the same tricks.
In a 1973 appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, Geller was unable to bend any spoon after the show’s producers purposedly preselected their own cutlery and prevented Geller or any of his staff access to it before the actual demonstration. To this day, Geller maintains his psychic claims and continues to take the stage as a psychic performer. Related Discussion to 'Uri Geller'Leave a Reply |
